Jordan Laing, Physiotherapist

Jordan Laing

Physiotherapist (provisional)

Clinic – Currie Center (UNB)

Meet Jordan!

Jordan is a Physiotherapy resident originally from Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with a major in Biology from St. Francis Xavier University, graduating in 2021. Jordan is also a certified personal trainer, seamlessly integrating her passion for fitness with her understanding of human movement.

Jordan pursued a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in the United Kingdom. During her two years abroad, she balanced her studies with travel across Europe, competed in the Women’s Premier League for volleyball, and served as the head coach for the University of Strathclyde’s Women’s Volleyball team.

After completing her master’s degree, Jordan returned to the Maritimes to work in the physiotherapy department at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, primarily working in rehabilitation and orthopaedics. She is committed to a client-centered approach that prioritizes the needs, preferences, and experiences of her patients while delivering evidence-based treatments. Jordan is particularly passionate about expanding her expertise in soft tissue therapy, exercise, and sports therapy, with a special interest in treating lower back pain.

Outside of her professional pursuits as a physiotherapist, Jordan enjoys running with her partner and their dog, Poppy, as well as relaxing with friends over snacks.
