Concussion Symptoms can affect

Physical Health: Headaches, dizziness, nausea, light and noise sensitivity, blurry vision, and balance issues.

  • Cognitive Function: Difficulty concentrating, confusion, fogginess, and memory problems.

  • Emotional State: Irritability, anxiety, mood swings, and sadness.

A concussion is a type of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) caused by sudden movement of the brain within the skull. This can happen from direct impacts to the head, neck, or body, such as in sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, falls, or physical assaults. It is important to note that a loss of consciousness is not required to sustain a concussion.
